Five official pavilions from Austria, China, India, Sri Lanka and Thailand participate at the 16th edition of Iran’s leading International Food, Beverages & Hospitality Trade Fair. Many of the top international brands will participate too.

To be held at the Tehran International Fairgrounds from 24 to 27 May 2009, iran food + hospitality 2009 will again be organised in conjunction with “iran food & bev tec 2009” and “iran agro 2009”, all in dedicated exhibition halls. iran food + hospitality 2009, the major trade show for the country’s food, beverages and hospitality industry, serves the industry by providing an ideal platform for business and exchange.

The event is supported by the Iranian ministries of industries and mines and of jihad – agriculture, and is again growing considerably. Two new halls (18 and 19) have been added to the previous ones (31a, 31b, 35, 40, 40a and 44-2). Exhibitors of this 16th International Food, Beverages and Hospitality Trade Fair are allocated according to their produce.

No doubt, the Iranian food and hospitality market becomes ever more important. Exporters of foodstuffs and hospitality equipment into the Middle East during the past few years made good business in Iran, now being one of the most important markets for major international players with interest in the region.

In addition to the official country pavilions, also more and more leading producers of foodstuffs, beverages and hospitality equipment are taking advantage of this important networking opportunity as exhibiting at iran food + hospitality is the best way of positioning products in Iran on the various import and distribution channels.

Exhibitors very satisfied with iran food + hospitality 2008
 
Just to recall: held very successfully from 25 to 28 May 2008 at the Tehran International Fairgrounds, exhibitors were very satisfied with their business and their discussions with 21,000 professional trade visitors, in addition to some 19,000 consumers visiting the event. Altogether estimated 40,000 visitors attended the show. -> Evaluation

Trade visitors comprised professionals from the food industry and food trade, from hotels, shops, restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores, bakeries and fast food outlets. They included wholesalers and retailers.
 
The organizers had announced a record participation for the 15th edition: 214 exhibitors from 8 countries including four official national pavilions from Austria, India, Spain and Thailand had booked for iran food + hospitality 2008. The exhibitors came from Austria, Germany, Iran, India, Portugal, South Korea, Spain and Thailand.
 
611 exhibitors from 26 countries at iran agrofood 2008

iran food+hospitality 2008 took place concurrently with iran food+bev tec 2008 (297 exhibitors from 21 countries) and iran agro 2008 (100 exhibitors from 9 countries), the three dedicated events building the frame of “iran agrofood 2008” with altogether 611 exhibitors.

Net exhibition area stood at 17,100 sqm, gross exhibition space at 38,000 sqm (both figures same as in 2007). A net exhibition area of 3,156 sqm was booked on the outdoor grounds.

The exhibitors originated from 26 countries, namely from Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
