Despite difficult business environment: The 27th edition of iran food + hospitality on 15 to 18 June 2020 in Tehran
Iran is one of the Middle East’s largest sales markets for food & beverages
According to WTO - World Trade Organization, Iranian food imports made up for 9.749 billion US Dollar in 2017. Iranian food exports amounted to 5.978 billion US Dollar. Thus food trade with Iran made up for a 15.727 billion US Dollar business in 2017.
Since the Iranian government has lifted the import restrictions on food products in 2003, imports of food products have become a major business. Especially producers of meat, ready to eat-meals, tea and coffee, vegetables, milk and cream, fish, non-alcoholic beverages and fruit and vegetable juices, fruit, cereals, chocolate and confectionery, cheese, curd and many other products note an enormous boost of their sales activities in Iran.
As such Iran is one of the Middle East’s largest importers of food and beverages.
Despite the difficult business environment in Iran, the June 2019 edition of iran food + hospitality proved an excellent show once again – see full details in the Post Show Report and read what the exhibitors said.
It is on this background that the organizers fairtrade and Palar Samaneh now announce the 27th edition of iran food + hospitality on 15 to 18 June 2020 to be held at the Tehran International Permanent Fairgrounds.
